I'm Back!

Wow I didn't realize that it's been 2 months since I last posted anything. I've been so busy working and other things that I've had no time for anything let alone me! So I switched working Monday-Friday 40 hours to working Monday-Wednesday & Friday 9 am to 7 pm so I can have more time with Josh and more time to do errands and maybe rest and clean. The house is a disaster. This is the first time in I don't know how long that I've actually been able to clean the whole house. I'm now exhausted! Our friends are leaving for North Carolina so they wanted to take Josh after nap time. So that was a big help. I can NOT fold clothes with him he knocks over everything then gets into everything! Nothing new or exciting...hopefully I'll be back soon! Life is just CRAZY right now :P

Mrs. Tompkins

We our now married! It only took 6 years too :P It was a lot of fun...small but very nice and simple just like we wanted. We had immediate family and a few cousins, aunts, and uncles. The rain held off too which was nice I really thought that it was going to rain!

Allergic?

Over the weekend we had an outside birthday party to go to so I put sunscreen on Josh that morning and afternoon. I didn't think anything of his face being red because I just figured he was hot. It was about 85* and he was running around playing. Well yesterday I put some more on him just in case my sister brought him outside (again it was 85*). Well his face is all puffy, splotchy, and red. He also has red bumps all over his belly and back! I had to end up calling the Pediatrician to see if I should give him Benadryl. My poor baby was all red, hot, and puffy!! It is basically all cleared up now! Any suggestions on a good, sensitive skin sunscreen for kids??

Wedding Rings!

Today we went to pick out our wedding rings!! Now we've just got to figure out exactly what we are going to be doing!

Getting Married!

So we decided that were getting MARRIED! We are planning to have it on our 6 year anniversary which is May 16th. Nothing big or fancy...I already have my dress. Were going to have it at the picture above. It is a gorgeous place. Then just dinner somewhere but we haven't figured that out yet.

BBQ

We had a BBQ last night and had both of our immediate families over. It was 75*!!! Plus they said it was going to "rain" and it didn't! I'm glad it held out. Josh played outside all day. Then when it got dark we had smore's by the fire! Plus today they called for rain again...not as warm (60*) but it was nice and sunny so my nephews came over and they played outside all day again. I'm glad it is getting warmer. It was either ice or snow and lots of it this year! We lost power a few times so I'm so glad winter is GONE!!

POOP!

Josh finally started pooping on the POTTY! I know TMI but we were quite excited! He has peed a few times but it has been a long time and it might have been 5 times? This morning before work we saw him about to do it in his diaper so we put him on the potty and after 5 or so minutes he finally did it! I got all excited and was clapping & jumping up and down for him (a site to see :P) So I gave him some Hershey kisses. He pooped at my sisters house too while I was at work and they called me. He was very excited telling me about Elmo (his potty seat is Elmo) and that he got candy! When I got home he said he pooped 2 times! LOL the excitement in my life is too much! Hopefully this isn't a phase and he will keep it up!?!

Happy Easter!

Happy belated Easter! Josh had lots and lots of fun. We went to my older sisters house for breakfast and she hid real hard boiled eggs outside for Josh and my 2 nephews. Then we met up with my little sister, her husband, & my niece and nephew to go to her in laws house for lunch. They also hid eggs but with candy so he was on a sugar high for the day and didn't eat lunch. BUT he was on his best behavior...which is odd for him I didn't even know he was in the house...but he made up for that when we got to my parents house! We left to go there at 3 pm. Josh slept for 30 minutes then he went crazy...I think the sugar and lack of food finally got to him. He was a nut! I was glad to get home though...but not until 8:30! Long day...I hope everyone had a nice Easter!

Raisin's

So this morning at 8 am I gave Josh some Cherrios and some raisin's while I finished getting dressed. He told me that he put one in his nose but I checked real quick and we went to my sisters. I dropped him off there so I could go to work. So around 5ish my sister calls me at work telling me that he threw his mac & cheese on the floor and she put him in time out. Then he started picking his nose and telling her about shoving a raisin up there. Well she looked and didn't see anything. Well again he starts shoving his finger up his nose complaining about a raisin. So my sister looks and she sees something! She tells him to blow and nothing so she freaks out a little and tries to find a tweezer...unsuccessfully. So she plugs his one nostril and tells him to blow out real hard and out pops the now plump raisin! She had me freaking out thinking we had to go to the hospital!! So long story short don't give kids raisins when your not 100% watching them!!

Number Three

Here is sickness number three (three times in three weeks and they all happen to fall on a Saturday...go figure?) Josh came down with something else this Saturday. I was shopping with my friend and when we were just about to leave DSW he started looking really delirious. So I go to Express quickly and over to Aunt Annie's for a smoothie for him. He was burning up by then. I give it to him thinking it will cool him down a bit and the poor kid starts to shiver! I put his jacket on and head home. He passed out on the car ride home so I put him to bed. He woke up an few hours later at 10 pm screaming. He was burning up worse than before so I gave him Motrin. He was so delirious even the next day! He was sitting on the couch most of the day and every now and then he would start blankly. Now he has green boogies in his eye. I just called to talk to the on call nurse but she wont be in for another 20 minutes. By then of course I'll be at work. I don't think it is pink eye but it could be an infection or a clogged tear duct? I don't know if they can still get that? Oh well wish us luck?! I also picked up some Vitamin C for both of us...I'm hoping that will help??

Sick Again?!?!

Josh again got the vomit and diarrhea thing two times in two weeks! What is going on?! This time it was Saturday at 6 am he woke up and came into our room and said "MAMA PUKE!! MAMA PUKE!" He was so excited I though he pooped or something? Sure enough Jason went into Josh's room and he had puked all over his bed :( He isn't even in Daycare anymore!! When will it end?? On the plus side Josh has been sleeping from 1 pm until 5 or 6 pm!?!?! I'm sure that will go back to normal soon.

Disappointed

So I got my bathing suit last night. It was so PRETTY!!..but as usual my big boobs didn't fit into it! So I'm returning it today :( I was able to find one on Victoria's Secret that is meant for DD's so hopefully this one will fit! Although they were all out of the color I wanted. This is what happened last year and I wasn't able to find one that could fit my top so I never got one. Where do the big boobied ladies go!?!?! HELP!

1 am

So Josh woke up at 1 am crying. So I went to get him and he smelt kind of funny so I turned on the stove light and checked his diaper...nothing (although I wasn't wearing my glasses!) Well...I put him into our bed and go to the bathroom to find puke on me! So I screamed for Jason to take his clothes off and get him out of the bed. I check his bedroom and its all over his pillow. My poor baby :( So I change him and put down some towels and stayed awake (I just had this Monday morning so I knew more was coming!) So he puked a few more times and a few hours later he finally fell asleep. He woke up around 7ish and you wouldn't even known he had puked he was happy and running all around! Now I had this Monday and stayed home from work?..weird! I'm glad he bounced right back though!

Bathing Suit

So I've been searching for a bathing suit now for years & years and I finally found the one I want! I'm just hoping that when it arrives I'm not disappointed like I usually am. I always end up getting it and it doesn't fit right or it just looks bad. And I will thank Patty for showing me this site last year! So...cross your fingers that all goes well! I just bought it and will be getting it in 2-3 business days!

My Baby...

...is not a baby anymore! It kills me although he is just too damn cute at this age! While I'm sitting at the computer he comes up to me and says "Mama...spiderman?!" So I give him a kissy face and he gives me a kiss...then starts asking about spiderman again. I try for one more kiss and what does he tell me?! "NO MAMA!! NO KISS! Where'd Spiderman go?" I do love this age but I feel he is growing up too fast! By the way...the picture to the left is from the other day when I was eating a sandwich. He LOVED it...so he gave me a thumbs up and asked for more.

Massage

I'm finally going for my massage! Jason for Christmas bought me a gift certificate for a spa right in town. I'm going at 1:30 for 1 hour! I can't wait...I so need this! I'm so impatient...

When Will It End?

Just when I though winter was almost over...we get more snow! I'm getting so sick of the snow...I know I said I love it. But when you get stuck and can't use your car when it snows it is no fun! On the way home from work it was so bad you could barely see where you were going! We were going 30 and couldn't see much more than 5 or so feet in front of us. I'm glad Jason drove me to & from work today.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Valentine's Day! Jason is working, we got to spend the morning together though? That is the only problem with restaurant jobs...the kitchen is never closed!

Pillowtop

I can't wait for my new bed! I haven't bought a bed in years. The king sized bed we have now was used (our friend gave it to us). Very thin and uncomfortable! We'll today I just bought a Simmons Pillowtop Mattress! It's got memory foam, 2x's the amount of coils as a regular bed, & a nice thick pillow top! I can't wait until we get it! They are delivering & taking away the old mattress for FREE on Tuesday. I bought the best bed they had in their show room! Both Jason & I can't wait to have a nice bed for once. He is going to love it when we get it...he is working so it will be a surprise!

Sick

Everyone is sick and it's spreading like wild fire! Josh and I got sick and it has spread to my work...I think he got it at Daycare. So I'm almost over my cold and Josh has just been getting worse & worse for some reason. I think its because while I'm at work he isn't blowing his nose enough and he is getting all backed up. He's got a nasty cough and he is buggery which has caused him to now have an ear infection. The poor thing! Jason took him to the Pediatrician after nap time because he woke up and said his ear hurt. So now he is on Amoxicillin for 7 days and hopefully tonight will go well. At least I'm off and can spent the weekend with him!

Babies?

Over the weekend I watched my sisters 2 kids, Madison 4 & Noah 2 months. She just got married and it was her birthday so we took them overnight. Well to my surprise Jason said "I miss having a baby" (If you could only see me smile!) Anyway then he goes "When are you going to stop your birth control?" I'm like "Your serious aren't you!" I don't think I have to persuade him any longer :) He knows I want one more but not yet. So hopefully when the time comes he'll still want one more!

We're FREE!

So Josh and I were playing in his room and he slammed the door shut while we were in there. We'll I go to open the door and it wouldn't open (I have a hook and eye on most of the doors because he can open up all the childproof things). By the way its just Josh and I at home...no one to let us out! So of course I say "oh shit!" and so did Josh! I was able to get myself out with a piece of plastic on Josh's new sunglasses. I'm not surprised though...this happened to me one other time but it was the bathroom door and Jason was home to let me out.

Cold!

It has been so cold here!! It snowed again a few days ago (about a foot) and flurried last night. Right now it is 1* with a high of 13* and a low of -1*. There is actually a school in my area that has closed due to many of the kids walk to school!! I want it to me nice and warm out again!! Please pass any nice warm weather my way please!!

Locket

I finally did it!! I've been trying to put these damn pictures into this locket Jason gave me for Christmas. I've never had one before so I actually googled it and finally figured it out. I tried it a few times and the pictures I couldn't get right but here it is!! I love it too :) I hope you all had a nice Christmas!

Toys, toys, toys!

I'm doing it again...going through all Joshua's toys and donating or throwing away the crappy ones! I just did this a few months ago but since his birthday & Christmas are only 10 days away I'm feeling over whelmed with toys! I still have at least 5 toys (from his birthday) that haven't been opened! I wish people would just give books or diapers. It would make me go a little less insane...maybe?? Anyway so far I have a bag full of toys he doesn't play with and 1/2 a bag of stuff that just needs to go! On top of that Jason is going to his cousins house to pick up Josh's birthday & Christmas present that he never got. Now I will have one of those big Home Depot work bench things...I'm going to have to move into a gigantic house soon!
